I’m a first-generation Filipino American, the youngest of four, and a lifelong student of hard
work, hospitality, and community. I graduated from Rutgers University with a bachelor’s degree
in Exercise Science, but my real education came behind the bar—learning people, pressure, and
performance in real time.

I began my career in hospitality at The Cheesecake Factory (2009–2014) before stepping behind
the bar at some of New Jersey’s most respected venues, including Green Rock (2010–present),
Park East (2009–2012), Porta (2012–present), Headliner (2021-2024), and Bar A (2015–present).

Today, I’m also a part-owner of Green Rock, The Waiting Room, and Bill’s Supperclub.
After more than 15 years as a bartender, the best advice I can give anyone in this industry is
simple: “people come first, and money follows.” If you focus on putting a smile on someone’s
face and giving them a reason to come back, everything else takes care of itself.
Outside the bar, discipline defines my life. I train six days a week, have competed in CrossFit,
completed a half marathon, and am currently training for both another half and a full marathon. I
love to travel, push my limits, and—most importantly—take care of the people in my industry.

Entrepreneurship runs in my family. My mother invented our Filipino barbecue sauce in 2009,
which I proudly carry on today alongside a Filipino BBQ food truck I’ve owned since 2019. Her
influence shaped not only my work ethic, but my belief that success means giving back.
In March 2025, I published a patent for the world’s first single-handed cocktail shaker. That
innovation became Speed Tin LLC, which officially launched in October and is already
distributed across 41 U.S. states and 8 countries. This is just version one. With direct feedback
from bartenders and buyers, I’m committed to building an evolving product ecosystem that
makes the industry faster, more profitable, and more efficient—globally.

Giving back is non-negotiable for me. Speed Tin will be proudly supporting Mental Health
America, inspired by my own experience with anxiety and depression prior to launching the
company, as well as to the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Foundation in honor of my mother, whose
passing continues to drive my purpose. She taught me that real success is measured by how
much you help others along the way.
